Join us for a Phonics class on Monday, Tuesday (Georgina) and/or Wednesday (Nats) 9.00-10.00am in The Sustainable City. This class is aimed for children between 1.5-2.5 years old. This group class is all about exposure and modelling, we tune those little ears into sound and feel rhythm in music and spoken language. We will play lots of listening games, voice games and songs, sing nursery rhymes and action songs. We will dance using scarves, beanbags and disco dough, these gross motor movements will filter to fine motor later. We play many phase 1 games, introducing the children to alliteration, rhyme, mirror work to develop pronunciation and oral blending. Free trial class available (one free class per child only). Join us for a Booster Phonics class on Monday 3-4pm in The Sustainable City. This class is aimed for children between 3-5 years old in FS1/FS2. This class is aimed at children in FS1/FS2 who have already learnt a handful of letter sounds and are ready to apply them to words and sentence building. We will do quick recaps of the phonemes and tricky words then have a go at sentence level work. The children will also have an opportunity to engage in activities set up in the environment. The activities may be story related activities, set up to master fine motor skills and some with a phonics focus. Our classes cater for the whole literacy package. Join us for a Stay & Play class on Thursday between 9.00-12.00pm in The Sustainable City. Class is aimed for children between 1.5-5 years old. Stay & Play classes are like a morning in nursery, children will access a snack and lunch. We will sing rhymes, do some counting, and read a story (different to the one in our Phonics classes). We offer a range of activities for the children to access just like they would if they went to nursery. It gives parents an opportunity to see how their child approaches activities, and what they choose. We will do two carpet sessions. One at the start and one at the end of class. Its a perfect class for children who think the our regular Phonics class is just too short. We offer paid trials for this class AED 290. Sibling discount 10% off regular price. The class focuses on building foundational maths skills through play-based learning and interactive activities. The class introduces basic concepts such as number recognition, counting, shapes, and simple patterns in a fun and engaging way and will be tailored to suit the needs and ability of your child. Activities are designed to be hands-on, encouraging children to explore maths concepts using objects, games, and visual aids, promoting both cognitive development and early problem-solving skills.
